Coach Stoops indicates that DT Casey Walker will return on Monday. #Sooners

Following practice Wednesday evening, head coach Bob Stoops announced that Sooners senior defensive tackle Casey Walker would be returning to the team this Monday. Stoops also confirmed that Walker had been attending classes and that his absence was not health related.

It remains to be seen whether or not Walker will immediately regain his starting role and/or what his return could possibly mean for David King potentially moving back to defensive end.

With the bye week following Florida A&M, Walker will have two weeks to work his way back into the starting lineup. Starting or not, his return adds a big, much needed body along the interior of the Oklahoma defensive line.
