Sooners Suspended Defensive Tackle Will Not Return Until After Notre Dame Game Per Report

According to a tweet from Tulsa World writer John Hoover, OU suspended defensive tackle Stacy McGee will not be allowed to return until after the Sooners face Notre Dame on October 27th.

Multiple people who cover the team confirmed Saturday during the pregame radio coverage that McGee has returned and is currently practicing with the team even. Stoops has maintained all along that the suspension was university related, but has failed to give any more specifics.

Based on this report, it would appear the Sooners will not be getting McGee back anytime soon. Which is unfortunate because they could certainly use him at a defensive tackle spot with very little depth and a position group that did not play well this past Saturday.
