According to a report Wednesday in the Sports Business Journal, the University of Oklahoma could earn "upwards of $7 million new annual revenue from both Fox and the school’s multimedia rights holder, Learfield Sports."
Obviously, that number is nowhere near the $15 million rival Texas
is stealing receives from ESPN but that should take nothing away from this report (assuming its accuracy, of course).
Again, if accurate, this would be a a substantial increase in revenue from the figures that were initially thrown out.
Oh, and cha-ching.
