SoonerScoop.com reported Friday night that Oklahoma reserve fullback Marshall Musil will miss the remainder of the season after suffering a torn ACL during a recent practice.
Musil was probably running third or fourth on the depth chart at fullback, behind Trey Millard, Aaron Ripkowski, and Jaydan Bird. So the loss isn't necessarily a devastating one with respect to on the field production, but that's obviously not the issue here for a young man who has just suffered a serious knee injury.
Goes without saying you have to feel for Musil, but hopefully he can get it fixed and work his way back sooner rather than later.
