As we eagerly anticipate the start of the 2012 season, I am reflecting on the great Sooners' that have played in the Bob Stoops Era (and there have been some good ones). Because I'm bored I have developed an offensive, defensive, and special teams roster of the best Sooners' during the Stoop Era. I'm sure there will be some objections, and that's fine. These are a mixture of old and new players that I would love to see on the field at once. Here we go...
OFFENSE:
LT- Jammal Brown
LG- Duke Robinson
C- Vince Carter
RG- Davin Joseph
RT- Trent Williams
TE- Jermaine Gresham
WR- Ryan Broyles
WR- Mark Clayton
QB- Sam Bradford
FB- Trey Millard
RB- All Day!
DEFENSE:
DE- Jeremy Beal
DT- Gerald McCoy
DT- Tommie Harris
DE- Dan Cody
SLB- Torrance Marshall
MLB- Rocky Calmus
WLB- Teddy Lehman
CB- Derrick Strait
SS- Roy Williams
FS- Nic Harris
CB- Andre Woolfolk
SPECIAL TEAMS:
P- Tress Way
KR- Reggie Smith
PR- Antonio Perkins
