UTEP To Wear Alternate Uniform For Season Opener Against Oklahoma

The college football landscape has shifted from the classic look to attempting to be flashy with the uniforms. In due time, the appearance of the jersey has gone from something a bit loose to almost skin tight. Whether this is for aerodynamics or to give the defender less to grab onto is still up to the jury. Now-a-days, over half of the 120 FBS teams have made adjustments to their unis heading into 2012. It just so happens that the UTEP Miners are one of those.

UTEP will wear an orange-on-orange uni for the season-opening game against Oklahoma on Sept. 1. - ESPN

The orange-on-orange look is not half bad in comparison to some others, but many will strongly disagree.
