Oklahoma Athletic Director, Joe Castiglione, was on the OKC Sports Animal Tuesday afternoon and dropped a juicy little nugget of information regarding the future of the Sooner Network. OU fans have been clamoring for news every since the university announced plans for it several months ago. Well it would seem, at least according to the extremely reputable Joe C., that things could be taking shape here shortly.
It always made the most sense for a football game to be the catalyst to kick off the new Sooner-centric network and rather than forcing fans to shell out $50 for another pay-per-view broadcast, hopefully the Florida A&M game will be available to a majority of OU fans.
We'll just have to wait and see, but at an absolute minimum this is some good news regarding the long awaited Sooner Network.
