Coach Stoops and Oklahoma officially announced today several roster changes, the most notable of which is the fact that center, Ben Habern, has decided to forego his final season and actually end his football career. Habern had undergone surgery on his neck following last season and is obviously putting his long term health (as he should) ahead of a potential career in football.
Honestly, it's hard to even focus after that but there was more official news.
Jaz Reynolds, Trey Franks, and Quentin Hayes have all been reinstated to the official roster, there is a catch however. They have been reinstated for practices only, they will not be allowed to play in a game until Stoops decides whether or not to allow them at a later date.
According to Stoops, Kameel Jackson's indefinite suspension will be re-evaluated at a later date (i.e. after his latest grades come in).
Digest.
