The announcement today that the media chose Oklahoma as the preseason favorite to win the Big 12 won't surprise many of you. The Sooners were the easy choice, but the vote might have been closer than you would have expected.

Oklahoma easily finished with the most first place votes (32 out of 41) and a total of 396 "points." However West Virginia finished second in the poll, garnering seven first place votes and 339 total points. Pretty close second place.

Texas was picked to finish third, Oklahoma State fourth, TCU fifth, K-State a pretty disrespectful sixth, Baylor seventh, Iowa State eighth, Texas Tech ninth, and Kansas being the cellar dwellar.

So, you all have any issues with the predicted order? Discuss.
