The Mackey (tight end) and Rimington (center) Awards watch lists were announced Tuesday morning and as you might have expected Oklahoma's Ben Habern was included on the latter. I was a little surprised Gabe Ikard wasn't also included on the Rimington watch list given how much time he spent there last year and the fact that he could open the season there again in 2012. As for the Mackey, only two players from Big 12 schools were included and they were from Baylor and Kansas respectively. Which, that alone, should tell you just how bad the tight end position could be in the Big 12 this year.
