Congratulations to the Oklahoma Softball team who defeated Arizona 7-1 on Saturday afternoon and in doing so advance to the programs' seventh Women's College World Series appearance.

The Sooners dominated in their two game sweep while hosting an NCAA Super Regional in their home ball park. With the win, the Sooners have accomplished their season long goal and will now have an opportunity to play for a national championship without ever having left the great state of Oklahoma in postseason play.

Saturday's win was just another in a season full of impressive accomplishments and now the biggest of all awaits just down the road in Oklahoma City. Few teams if any that will join OU in OKC are playing better than the Sooners, so I dare say anything less than a national championship will be some what of a disappointment.

But hey, no pressure or anything ladies!
