There were transfer rumors circulating online Tuesday about the possibility of an OU basketball player and those rumors were confirmed today on the Tulsa Sports Animal by James Hale. Hale confirmed the talk that Sooners guard Carl Blair has elected to transfer from the program. It's believed to be a move by Blair seeking more playing time after spending most of this past season coming off the bench for the Sooners.

Blair spent two seasons at Oklahoma, after initially transferring from New Orleans University, averaging just over five points, three rebounds, and two assists in those two years. Blair is a junior and would have to sit out a year if he chooses to transfer to another D-I school, but could play next year if he were to choose a D-II school.

Sooner Nation appreciates your time in the crimson and cream Carl and wishes you luck in your future endeavors!
