Pitchers Dillon Overton and Jonathan Gray each received an individual honor today as the weekly Big 12 baseball awards were handed out.
Overton was named Big 12 Pitcher of the Week after recording two wins, eight strikeouts, zero walks, and just one earned run. Overton tossed a complete game Saturday against West Virginia retiring 18 straight batters at one point.
Gray, after several tough outings to begin his OU career, was named Big 12 Newcomer of the Week after recording ten strikeouts in the Sooners win over #9 Oregon Saturday night.
Congrats to both Dillon and Jonathan!
