Coming into the Red River Rivalry, Steven Pledger was just shy of hitting 1,000 career points. One thing that Pledger has done this year is set himself apart from the rest of the pack as an elite shooter. On this night, Pledger would find himself with 13 points, thus eclipsing the 1,000 point mark. He becomes the 38th Sooner to do so and still has a year to play if he so chooses.
Pledger has averaged 17 points per game up to this point while scoring a total of 472 points this season. At this rate, he could join the 1,500 point club. Congrats to you Steven and what you have been able to accomplish so far in your career as a Sooner!
