West Virginia is officially going to be a member of the Big XII conference 2012 and the Sooners will be traveling to Morgantown in mid-November for a game that could decide the conference championship.
Joining us tonight to discuss West Virginia athletics will be WVUIE97 from SBN's The Smoking Musket.
In addition to WVU we'll also be recapping the week in basketball and baseball as well as breaking down the newly released football schedule.

If I had to put money on one
I’d say Phillips. It will be tough though because w/ three seniors ahead of them and OU traditionally only really using a four man rotation, it’s difficult to see either getting a ton of snaps. I think the coaches would be foolish not to play both b/c of those three seniors and you don’t want to head into 2013 w/ zero experience.
Individually I think Phillips could be every bit as good as Tommie Harris. He has that kind of special talent. Wade could also be a high ceiling type player, but he has a different game than Phillips. Wade is more of a run stuffer whereas Phillips is that rare DT who can really get after the passer. The only thing that will keep Phillips from being a star will be injuries (knocking on wood) and/or his work ethic.

Yea I’m lucky in that department. I’m a happy drunk who just has a good time. I got wild once but that was my first night home from Iraq so I still had that marine corps mentality from over there still with me.

I promise you. Had a buddy who went to an osu vs Michigan game when he was 14 at osu. Well he was a Michigan fan and they threw condoms full of piss on him at the game. Mind you he was 14.

Lol seems he has been since Murrays freshmen year. He kind of tripped and fell a lot too after his freshmen year.

Or again, much like our DT conversation from earlier, you’re looking at 2013 with a position (and the most important on the field by the way) with zero experience. That can’t happen IMO.

If it happened in the opener like it did to Bradford
My money would be on Allen. But if you’re talking about another full year for Bell and assuming they develop him as a passer this year, I have to take his upside for the comfort I’m sure the coaches feel w/ Allen.
Allen is the kind of QB Texas would love to have this year IMO. I think he could be a very competent game manager type QB and that’s what they need, but not what this OU team needs because we don’t have their defense.
