OU Women's Basketball Adds Two New Players, From The Volleyball Squad

As first reported by Jason Kersey of The Oklahoman, the Oklahoma women's basketball team has added two new players to their roster. And they didn't have to look that far to add them. Tara Dunn and Eden Williams, who are both members of the Oklahoma volleyball team, will be added to the Sooners basketball roster.

From Kersey:

Neither Dunn nor Williams is expected to see much game action; their roles will primarily be providing practice depth for the Sooners, who have lost four players to season-ending injuries since preseason workouts began.

Dunn (6-foot-2) and Williams (5-3) will play forward and guard, respectively. Both played basketball all four years of high school.

Dunn, from Poth, Texas, will wear jersey No. 43 and be classified a redshirt sophomore.

An outside hitter on the OU volleyball squad, Dunn second on the team with 245 kills during the 2012 season.

Williams, a native of Amarillo, Texas, will wear jersey No. 33 and be considered a redshirt freshman. The defensive specialist played in every set of every volleyball match.
