I'm gonna preface this with "this should have been a fanshot, but I'm too lazy to scroll down that far!"

I just read something that I can't get my brain around. Has anyone else read the cnnsi.com All-America team segment? Mind = blown.

If you read here, you'll see that Oklahoma is getting next to zero national love. That absolutely floors me. One Honorable Mention selection. That's it.

This begs a question, is OU getting the proverbial shaft, or...maybe more likely...is the talent at OU really THAT lacking? Better yet, is the player development truly as poor as most of us feel it is?

This is a subjective All-America team. But one Sooner on it? Not even Honorable Mention? To me, that's a big, big, interesting statement. I mean, c'mon, numbers alone would say that at least one more Sooner should have landed on that list; Tony Jefferson, Justin Brown, Kenny Stills, Jalen Saunders, Trey Millard...maybe even the current QB (still can't give him his name back...not yet).

Am I overreacting here, or is the national media TRULY that tired of the current OU brand?
