The four best teams in the country looked vulnerable over the weekend but still managed to keep their perfect seasons intact.
LSU was just a few bad coaching decisions away from moving back into the BCS championship race. Instead they blew a last minute lead at home, against Alabama, and join the list of teams on the outside looking in. Notre Dame was pushed to the limit against Pittsburgh and Kansas State may have suffered a key injury to their key player in their struggle with Oklahoma State. Then there was Oregon, who scored at will against USC but also looked very susceptible on defense. In all, not a great weekend for the Top Four but at least they remained unblemished.
