OU Women's Basketball - Sooners Bounce Back With Blowout Win Over Saint Louis

Brendan Maloney-US PRESSWIRE

Following a loss to UCLA earlier in the week, much uglier than the final score alluded to, the Sooners bounced back with an easy win over an outmatched Saint Louis team.

Oklahoma started the game on a 19-0 run which should tell you about all you need to know in this one. Oklahoma was led in scoring by Nicole Griffin's 15 points and a revamped post game that continues to impress. Aaryn Ellenberg and Whitney Hand joined Griffin in double figures with 13 and 11 respectively. Sophomore Sharane Campbell chipped in with seven and true freshman Nicole Kornet finished with six on 2-of-3 shooting from behind the arc.

The Sooners have the pleasure of an upcoming trip to Hawaii for the Rainbow Wahine Showdown tournament. They will play their first game Friday against Arkansas at 6 p.m. (CST). Followed by a game with Oregon also at 6 p.m. (CST) on Saturday and a match-up with host team Hawaii on Sunday at 6:30 p.m. (CST). All three games will be available on SoonerSportsTV.
