Had it not been for a double-overtime loss at Iowa State last season, the Oklahoma State Cowboys would have found themselves playing for a BCS championship. With that on their minds the Cowboys defended their home turf against the Cyclones on Saturday afternoon.
Trailing 10-7 at the end of the first quarter, Oklahoma State put the clamps on the ISU offense and outscored the Cyclones 24-0 the rest of the way. OSU Quarterback J.W. Walsh threw for 415 yards and a score and running back Joseph Randle got back on track with 151 yards and two touchdowns on 24 carries.
The Cowboys turned the ball over twice but it mattered very little because the racked up 625 yards of total offense against Iowa State and averaged seven yards per play. The win improved OSU to 4-2 overall and keeps their hopes of repeating as Big 12 champions alive with a 3-1 conference record.

The game of the week within the Big 12 is Kansas State at West Virginia and nationally you have to look at LSU/Texas A&M and South Carolina/Florida.
