"stage mom"?

This whole scene is sickening…with or without mom…

Meh

It’s not like the kid is locked in. There will be discussion after discussion and when it is all said and done he could sign with LSU. Saw this happen live though and thought it was quite odd as something was noticeably awry.

You have to go where you think you have the best chance of succeeding…

I didn't see this one live, but saw Wes Brown choose Maryland

I thought it was funny when Dari Knowkah asked him if it was because of their uniforms and he said Heck No, I want to be closer to family.

So much for ugly swag…

Rumor has it that Texas is about to sign a huge corporate sponsorship deal for the Longhorn Network. They just have to decide which brand represents them best: Dyson, Eureka or Hoover.

wow

mother of the year

Hey, my parents wanted me to go to Okla. St. for differing reasons. When I went to OU they fully supported me, and loved me, and were excited for me. Granted, I wasn’t a top athlete….but I’m not sure how that changes anything. It’s about where the kid thinks will be the best “home” and give him/her the best future.

Now, 18 year old kids aren’t always wise enough to make life decisions, but in the choice for college?

Good for him!

That had to be a really tough decision and I hope things work out really well for him.

Saw this on Yahoo.

Mom sure is selfish. Doesn’t seem to care at all what her son feels is best for him or where he feels is a good fit. He probably just picked Bama so he could get out of state and away from her.

What you see here is the way it is in Louisiana....

it is LSU over family, or anything really.

I saw Sterling Sheppard in a couple of plays (that I remember)

I recall one catch for around five yards and another play where he and the QB weren’t on the same page that resulted in a pick 6.

I didn’t see Alex Ross get any carries and couldn’t find any box score for the game to confirm that. There was also a DB that has given us a verbal commitment (I think), but I don’t remember which one.

None of the ‘featured’ announcements were anyone that we were in the running for.

That makes sense

I was going off of the blurbs I had seen about Alex and Sterling “playing” in the UA game.

Most of the OU guys

Did nothing in either game actually. Don’t take that to mean they didn’t play well, it’s more a product of these all-star games. They’re generally very sloppy and few players actually excel.
