Despite rumors to the contrary, OU coach Jay Norvell staying put
That collective sigh you just heard was from those of us who follow recruiting and our sigh of relief that Jay Norvell, who is in the midst of putting together a stellar WR class, has turned down advances and will return to Oklahoma. Carey Murdock of SoonerScoop was able to confirm that Norvell did indeed interview with Wisconsin on Wednesday, but has removed his name from consideration for their vacant offensive coordinator position and chosen to stay at Oklahoma.
Good news for OU fans who get to keep an excellent coach and outstanding recruiter.

To me this is really good news!
"I feel sorry for peple who don't drink, when they wake up in the morning thats as good as they are gonna feel all day long." Frank Sinatra
Any or allof our chances to get DGB would vanish if he left.
I swear my allegiance to the crimson and cream, and lay down my effort to honor this team. The bell always awnsered, Ill fight through the pain and lift up my brother! To honor this game! I stand in the shadows of champions past and guard every inch of this hallowed grass. I train to remember although i may bleed. We live by the code, of the crimson and cream. Theres only one Oklahoma.
rumor has it as well
that if he left duron neal might decommitt
Team FIRST, Effort SECOND, Talent THIRD, Selfish NEVER
Makes me wonder....
if he is not going to get a little more responsibility as part of his OC job.
I'm a Sooner Born and a Sooner Bred, and when I die I'll be a Sooner Dead!!!
I like Norvell and thnk he needs more responsibility
and input into the play calling if it isn’t happening already. The coach in the booth thing has to stop. Call the game from the field.
The one thing being a lot older has going for it, most of us older have seen more CFB than most younger people have seen web pages.
