PrintMike Stoops officially returns to The University of Oklahoma as defensive coordinator and suddenly the basketball team is upsetting Top 25 opponents. Coincidence you say? I think not!
Seriously, what does the return of Mike Stoops mean to recruiting and the coaching staff? That's going to be a major topic of discussion along with the emotional roller coaster week the basketball team brought us this last week.
Hang out with us for an hour or so tonight and join in on the conversation.

On the other thread about BV need to clarify.... point was missed ....
If you had asked me before bedlam if BV would leave for what could be a lateral position, I would have said no. But after all that happened at Bedlam, I am not surprsised that he MAY feel like a new challenge……

yeah i hovered between 25-40.
tonight I have been wondering if the box loss was harder on him emotionally than anyone really realized. i just keep seeing him at the funeral ….

I just think it may have refocused or um made him adjust his focus.
everybody needs change now & then
its easy to see how he would "look inside" see what this might have done to him,
examine his priorities/focus and where as a person/father/coach he wants to be.
I can see that, I just don't think he's leaving
I posted in the other thread that I doubt he leaves unless it’s to be a HC. But I don’t know, maybe he’s just a little more gilted over this than it seems.

I've read two different quotes from interviews w/ Clemson recruits
Could they be exaggerating what actually happened? Sure. But short of interviewing people myself you only have so many options in terms of finding info.
