Whats going on with Travis Lewis?
I keep seeing articles and hearing from people that he's not liked very much at OU by his teammates anybody know why? I'm kinda curious to know if this has anything to do with him calling out his teammates after the loss to Texas Tech because after that it seems like he disappeared really and he always seemed like he was a very motivating team captain I realized wort looked up to him a lot as a leader.

Lewis rubbed some people the wrong way
Because he didn’t want to support the slackers and didn’t have a problem calling them out. The guy played injured all season long and he also had no problem questioning some of the other guys who were missing practices and game snaps with what he deemed to be minor injuries.
I think that most of the team loves and supports Lewis however when you don’t have a problem letting people know what you’re thinking then some people aren’t going to be alright with that.
This.
Yeah locker room leaders are always hated in a dysfunctional locker room, which from everything we’ve heard was the case at OU this season.
Also not all leaders are loved…I mean to be a good leader you have to make decisions that will make others lives shitter and people resent that even if it was the correct call.
the players that didn't like him or his style are mommie's boys and whiners
The one thing being a lot older has going for it, most of us older have seen more CFB than most younger people have seen web pages.
Lewis did his job as a leader in my opinion
But he played injured, and we had some bad apples. Can’t blame him for how this season turned out.

Would you say
that the bad apples were on D or on both sides of the ball ?
Then how the lack of a more vocal leadership on offense did hurt the locker room atmosphere ?
If they had trouble on both sides of the ball
then I can see why there were huge issues. Landry isnt much of a vocal leader from what Ive seen. It also seemed to me that after the the tech loss Travis kinda gave up on the season IMO at least from the outside looking in after he called out his teammates he just went mute.
