Lon Kruger and OU pick up first 2012 commit

Coach Kruger and the Sooners hosted KS 6'4" 2012 guard Buddy Hield over the weekend and came away with their first commitment for 2012.  Originally from the Bahamas, Hield hit a growth spurt recently and started drawing the attention of several Big 12 programs.  He turned down offers from Boston College, Memphis, Miami, Missouri, Texas A&M, and Utah to commit to the Sooners.  He's a four star prospect according to Rivals and the #17 shooting guard in the 2012 class and the #94 overall player.  A nice pick up for Coach Kruger and the b-ball team.
