UPDATE 4:18 p.m.: Jason Shackelford reports the regents have granted OU President David Boren permission to seek another conference for the university.

UPDATE 2:33 p.m.: Big Al reports the general meeting has adjourned and the regents have gone into executive session to discuss conference alignment.

UPDATE 1:55 p.m.: 2NEWS Sports Director Al Jerkins says OU President David Boren told meeting attendees to grab a coffee because the meeting is going to take awhile. Big Al also said OU Athletic Director Joe Castiglione is present at the meeting.
