Saturday Night Football Game Thread: BYU At Texas

Kickoff: 6:00
Location: Austin
Television: ESPN

Alright, roll call time. Which side of the fence are you on here? I stand by my earlier statement that I'm a Cougar fan tonight, but what about you?

Remember Texas fans, no matter who the opponent or what the score is, Matty wants you to be proud and wave your flag and stuff.

My final take on this game.

The teams that have tu on their schedule are not dreading the date they play.

Well...

We definitely disagree here. I’ve played on average teams where game plan has kept it close, I’ve played on good teams where talent won out. In the end, I’d rather be on the former than the latter. The process was more important down the road.

They'll get no hits from me.

Besides, I don’t like to shower as often as I would need if I went there.

They load the box, he goes deep

Only need to complete 1 out of 4 to move the chains.

But you are correct, that is insanity. It really is a shame Michigan can’t pair him with a defense, b/c Robinson is a unique talent.

Almost 600 comments...

About a team that went 5-7 last year, who just barely beat an un-ranked team at home.

Not a whole lot going on in the state of Oklahoma tonight is there?

by theghostinside on Sep 11, 2011 12:03 AM CDT reply actions

Apparently the same can be said about you and Texass.

by SoonerSunDevil on Sep 11, 2011 12:35 AM CDT up reply actions

actually I live in texass,

But no since OU has a bye & OSU played Thursday, there isn’t much going on. Some of us are actually happy it’s the second week if football season, but as a whorn fan I can SEE why you wouldn’t be.

Not all comments were about tu.

Please ! Please ! Don't ban any of the idiot troll fodder. I wasn't able to get in on the slaughter tonight.

In the wide-wide-world of sports yesterday...

…nothing can match this for corrupt officiating.

The refs called it a first down and Auburn went on to score what would prove to be the game winning touchdown.

The Clarion-Ledger.

I don't know

the Utah-USC spot was fairly egregious, too

If you are referring to the one that was overruled by instant replay...

…at least it was corrected and didn’t change the outcome of the game.
