Notre Dame has been the main target in conference realignment for the Big XII. With the impending departure of aTm, the Big XII will be forced to add a few schools or disband. However, if the Big XII continues to target ND, the conference could be in trouble while holding out on invites to other schools. I know we don't want to water down the Big XII more than we have to and we definitely don't want to bring in a handful of lower caliber teams. When it comes down to it there are a few schools in the footprint of the Big XII already that would make great additions competition wise. But, the question remains when will the Big XII give up hope on landing a team that has been independent for years and is likely to remain that way for the rest of their football existence (especially with the fact that ND plans to launch their own tv network)?
