Two former Sooners sign NFL free agent deals

Just wanted to give a quick update on a couple former Sooners who, now that the NFL lockout has been resolved, have signed free agent deals.  WR Cam Kenney has signed with the San Diego Chargers and RB Mossis Madu will team up with fan favorite Gerald McCoy on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Cam Kenney should have been picked up during the draft

I know he was shaky in the beginning, but the 2nd half of last season he was money…..grabbed nearly every pass thrown to him. He definitely has the speed and tools to do well at the next level.

Awesome!

Thanks for the update!!! REALLY hope he can stick after all the horrific injuries he suffered.

Cam is a great young man! I’m glad he got signed…I met him in cinci and he was top notch.

So, he signed a deal, but still has to go through workouts to make the team? He is pretty fast and talented in multiple facets of the game…he will make it and be successful, he’s got the drive and passion.

kenney

i predict kenney is a keeper. great speed, with an ability to get open. showed better hands the more he played. was at his best in big games down the stretch. and can double as a backup punter and place kicker.

Gerald McCoy

was the 3rd overall pick last year.

Do you know where you're at and who I am?

Glad Madu gets a NFL shot

Dunno if he will make it, he may end up like Allen Patrick bouncing around NFL practice squads…but you never know he could pull a Kieth Toston. Notice how our second string still gets picked up though, good sign

Also Eric Mensik got picked up by the cards
