As we all know, the recruiting process of Gunner Kiel has been as secretive as Bob Stoops when it comes to injuries.  However, Kiel has recently leaked information that indicates OU has possibly been eliminated from his choices.

Interviewed at the Elite 11 camp, Kiel expressed that he wants to commit to a school with no other quarterbacks in their recruiting class:

"I probably won't go somewhere that's going to take two quarterbacks.  I'll probably call the quarterback coach and the head coach and tell them thanks for the opportunity they gave me and then move on to the next school."

Although Kiel has not explicitly stated OU is eliminated, this quote and Trevor Knight's commit suggests it is a possibility.  Furthermore, OU seemed to be putting all of their eggs in one basket during the initial recruiting period when Kiel was the only quarterback offered.  Perhaps Bob Stoops realized that Kiel has strong interest in another school, such as Indiana, Alabama, or Tennessee, and decided to go ahead and offer Knight a scholarship as a result.
