OU Softball - Ricketts Shuts Down Kansas in Doubleheader

The 14th-ranked University of Oklahoma softball team scored a combined 25 runs on 29 hits to sweep Kansas in a doubleheader Wednesday at Arrocha Ballpark. The Sooners (31-10, 4-2 Big 12) took the opening game 12-6 and the second 13-5. The Jayhawks fell to 27-12 overall and 0-8 in conference play. Keilani Ricketts moved to 18-6 on the year with the win in game one and pitched in relief in game two, shutting down the Jayhawks offensively.
