Just how valuable are the short throws to Jones and the Sooners' offensive success?
Cool article (besides the grammatical errors) about how the short throw passing game factored into his success on the field. I remember early on in the 2010 football season when Landy Jones received much criticism about how his overall stats failed to give some fans confidence in his ability (I'm guilty). However, it's safe to say I'm a believer nowadays. But moving on to the point, I always wondered what the stats were for short passes because I thought they overinflated his statistics, and interestingly enough, I found an article covering that issue.
