Photo

The Big 12 coaches released their awards and All Big 12 teams yesterday, today it was the media's turn. Generally, the media's selections tend to be closer to how things really should be and I think that's pretty much the case again this year.

Defensive player of the year: Frank Alexander, Oklahoma
Offensive newcomer of the year: Malcolm Brown, Texas
Defensive newcomer of the year: Arthur Brown, Kansas State
Coach of the year: Bill Snyder, Kansas State

And get off of my lawn!

Rumor has it that Texas is about to sign a huge corporate sponsorship deal for the Longhorn Network. They just have to decide which brand represents them best: Dyson, Eureka or Hoover.
