Well this would certainly make sense given all the talk we've heard about OU pursuing defensive ends lately. Baylor's Rivals site, SicEmSports.com ($), was able to confirm with the Euless Trinity DE that he was no longer committed to the Sooners. There are some reports that the OU coaches pulled his report after Manukainiu continued to take visits to other schools after verbally committing to the Sooners. It's pretty well known that Coach Stoops doesn't like OU verbals to do that, so there could certainly be some truth to the report.

Either way, OU is now back down to 16 verbal commitments for the 2012 class. It also opened up a spot for Mario Edwards! (yes please)
