it will be a good game

with these two we will be able to go out and get Pizza, stop and have a beer on the way home and never miss anything interesting.

The one thing being a lot older has going for it, most of us older have seen more CFB than most younger people have seen web pages.

We did..... once.

But enjoy it now. It never lasts forever…

seriously…..when was the last time you went to Ames? ever?

I'll entertain a conversation

once the SEC learns that the ball goes in these things called endzones for what has become known as a touchdown.

burmbuster

YOU’RE A TROLL!!
Pick a friggen team and go blow that team, instead of trying to sound witty over here…

This reminds me of

The Simpsons’ take on soccer. Looks about the same.

“Fast kicking! Low scoring! And ties?? YOU BET!!”

by ousooner919 on Dec 5, 2011 8:33 PM CST reply actions

Awesome!

If neither team can get in the end zone after 4 quarters they need to just call the game and say that there will be no national championship this year.

by chuckb on Dec 5, 2011 8:56 PM CST reply actions

4 quarters? no, i'm thinking more like after the first half.

LSU has already won it IMO, they already beat bama at bama, why should they have to do it again, this whole system is stupid.

That's the point I've been hammering

If the regular season is so dadgum important (just like everyone in college football says it is) then why are we seeing this game? If the regular season is essentially a playoff (as so many in the game claim it is) then LSU has already beaten Bama and Bama should not get another shot. What a crock.

If you want to see actual defense

Then watch this game, since no team in the Big 12 knows how to play real defense.

by kingjosiah22 on Dec 5, 2011 10:19 PM CST reply actions

Funny part is that we already saw "actual defense"

and it was the Snorefest of the century…I’ll stick to a movie on Jan 9th but thanks for the offer

i woudn't even give him the time of day

you should see some of the stuff that was said about Box’s death on alabama’s meltdown page. Some of the fans over there are flat out f’d in the head. Some of it’s so bad you we’d be banned over here even if it was said about texass.

That's ok no team in the SEC actually has an offense.

Of course defense looks good…. Especially against the trifecta of ole miss, miss st & vandy…

there it’s done right.

See, it’s simple if you try.

Rumor has it that Texas is about to sign a huge corporate sponsorship deal for the Longhorn Network. They just have to decide which brand represents them best: Dyson, Eureka or Hoover.

by It'sTheVoice on Dec 6, 2011 1:27 PM CST up reply actions

Something to think about.

Are the Defenses that good or are the Offenses that inept???? HHHmmmm
I’ll you SEC homers contemplate that one… please use www.dictionary.com to look up ’contemplate"

Our D looked pretty damn good again crappy O’s…

If the SEC wants to see actual offense

They should want an LSU/OSU matchup. That would show a real offense and a real defense.

by SCKSChief on Dec 7, 2011 7:57 AM CST up reply actions

I really like watching defensive games, but good lord, someone pleae score a friggen touchdown

for the burmbuster he needs to recall the 1974 and 1975 Sooner Defenses. He should also look at the 1984 and 1985 Sooner Defenses and include the 2000 Sooner Defense as well.

Each and every single one of those defenses would have laid out LSU cold, Stopped the very little bit of Bama offense there was, and absolutely strangled the fricken life out of LOUSR St.

I you really want to know about it, eFF’ with us and find out!

Cotton Bowl

Something like 50 total yards given up. Classic

seriously…..when was the last time you went to Ames? ever?

by PA Sooner 95 on Dec 6, 2011 5:04 PM CST up reply actions

To a mighty SEC team btw!

Of course that was when it was THE cotton bowl. Screw that bowl at Jerry world.

by OU JJ on Dec 6, 2011 6:42 PM CST via mobile up reply actions

Such a DREADFUL offense though

That was disgusting that it was even a game on the scoreboard.

by SCKSChief on Dec 7, 2011 7:59 AM CST up reply actions

Agreed

But how nice is was to have a D that could bail the O’s butt out of a jam, for near an entire season.

Makes me appreciate the 2009 D in retrospect that much more too.

by PA Sooner 95 on Dec 7, 2011 8:32 AM CST up reply actions

Never argue about the defense

I never will. It was awesome.

All things considered, if we could have that D back and get some performance out of the RB, QB and WR positions…along with any semblance of run blocking, this would be a NC lock team…every year.

Crap, that sounds like a LOT.
