Looking Into The Crystal Ball And Prognosticating All Eight Big XII Bowl Games

Big-12-logo_medium

Its not easy being the resident conference bowl guru but someone's got to do it. I did go 5-3 last year in prognosticating the bowl winners for the Big XII conference so that should earn me a little street cred. Its also a bit ironic because I've got the Big XII going 5-3 this bowl season. To find out who I've got winning and losing this year you'll have to take the jump.

I'd like to think the Cotton Bowl will be more competitive

Arkansas is about on par with ATM (beat ’em very closely but should have lost) and K-State has a playmaker in the secondary. If Klein can control and move the K-State offense, I think the game could be close.

Arkansas’s best win on the year is over South Carolina, then ATM. They struggled horribly against Ole Miss and should have lost to Vandy. And they were outplayed pretty well by both ‘Bama and LSU. I’ll pick K-State with the ‘upset’ here, an 8 point dog. But maybe I’m just a Big XII homer mired in SEC country.

I see three wins

maybe four.

Wins – Texas, A&M, Baylor and maybe OSU
Losses – OU, Mizzou, KState, ISU

Oklahoma will lose. Landry is the QB and nothing has changed in three years, so he’ll look confused like always. We have no players left that can make plays and Bob fiddles while Norman burns.

So pissed right now.
