For those of us who watched the game, the confirmation (Stoops also confirmed in his post game) that wide receiver Ryan Broyles has suffered a torn ACL comes as no surprise.  You knew it was bad when the broadcast showed the coaches coming up to console him and the all time OU great in tears on the sideline.  

To be honest, I'm not sure how to quite put this into words.  Ryan Broyles isn't just an outstanding football player, he is an outstanding human being.  I, and I'm sure all of Sooner Nation, hate so much that this happened today that I'm just absolutely sick to my stomach. We all wish you a full and as speedy as possible recovery Ryan!

A sad, sad night in Sooner Nation to say the least.
