OU's Casey Walker injures throat in practice

Stay connected for news and updates

Oklahoma defensive tackle Casey Walker reportedly suffered an injury to his throat in Wednesday's practice.  The injury was believed to have happened when Walker had his head bent back and a teammate's hand hit him in the throat.  It was reported that Walker initially had trouble breathing and because of that the OU coaches called an ambulance just to be safe.  Walker was taken to the hospital, but was released shortly after his arrival.

His availability for Saturday's game against Iowa State is not known at this time.
