After the harsh sting of their coming crashing back down to reality, Ok. State's embarrassing loss has sent the BCS into a tail spin. The overwhelming consensus by the tv talking heads is that it's Bama & Oregon and nobody else. Well OU's three road wins against (at the time) Top 10 teams and our eight wins (should we win out) vs. Top 30 teams compared to Bama's two and Oregon's two kind of beg to differ. But you won't hear any of that, this we know for sure. ESPiN won't openly campaign for OU like they've already started to do for Bama & Oregon. No surprise to be sure, but at the end of the day we don't have anyone to blame but ourselves. Don't lose to Tech and none of this matters. You can blame not having a playoff, you can blame the human idiots who make up 2/3 of the BCS formula, you can even blame OSU for losing. You'd be wrong on that last one IMO, but you can do it if you like. If Sooner Nation is having to root for an OSU team to win just to help our chances then something has gone incredibly wrong and that's where we're at. Freaking Texas Tech.
But I digress and we move on. Another Saturday full of the best sport on the planet. We'll have the OU game thread up around 5:30, but in the meantime consider this your hang out spot for all the afternoon games.
