georgia is the only team that is really in a spot to help the sooners into the national championship game. if there is any chance, ga has to win the sec championship game. obviously, stanford has to lose, but we'll see today. if oregon wins, they may jump the sooners in the polling, but the whole thing depends on ou beating an undefeated silo tech. that should elevate the sooners back above oregon. neither lsu, as a one loss team after the sec championship nor alabama would be conference champs. no way that both teams are in. that leaves the sooners and boise st. if both jump both sec teams, the match is set. the more likely scenario is that lsu or ala will be left in the top two. so then it comes down to the polls. will ou have enough computer strength to jump them over boise in the final bcs poll? remember, georgia is the key to the sooners hopes. and that is a double edged sword because boise handled georgia pretty easily this year.
