Legendary Broadcaster Bob Barry Senior Passes Away

I can honestly say that I've never met a nicer man than Bob Barry Sr. Oklahoma's legendary broadcaster was found dead in his home this morning.

He called games for the Sooners from 1961-1972 and then from 1991 through last spring. He allowed me the opportunity to interview him on two separate occasions and was just as gracious and humble in person as he appeared to be over the air.

One thing that I'll never forget was his emphatic, "touchdown Oklahoma!" call after a Sooner score. He was 80 years old.
