The Oklahoma Sooners just can't seem to get away from the injury bug and the carnage is mounting. Staring middle linebacker Tom Wort and defensive tackle Casey Walker are back in the lineup today against Kansas State but starting center Ben Habern and boundary corner Jamell Fleming are still sidelined.
We can now add leading rusher Dominique Whaley to the list of injured Sooners. On the first play of the game Whaley was rolled up on while blocking for teammate Roy Finch. KSU linebacker Arthur Brown was the player who fell into Whaley causing a broken leg.
Whaley leads Oklahoma in rushing with 590 yards and averaged 5.2 yards per carry.
