Two OU defensive starters (NOT) out for K-State game

Dean Blevins just stated on WWLS The Sports Animal (just before 4pm central) that both Jamell Fleming and Tom Wort will both miss the Kansas State game this coming Saturday.  This after Stoops stated at his weekly press conference today that there was a chance Fleming would be back (but that was probably always in doubt honestly) and that Wort would definitely play.

Given the Wildcats propensity to run the ball, you wouldn't think Fleming's loss would be as significant but after the performance of the CBs last week that could be very optimistic thinking.  The news on Wort however is very disheartening considering how well he has played this year and how much they will miss him in the middle of that defense.

Is it just me or does it seem like the news just gets worse and worse?  Uggggggghhhhhhhhhhhh!

Update - 5:41 p.m.: Blevins has just confirmed that he has no idea what he is talking about...

Take that back. My source &I were texting and miscommunicated. Bottom line, Fleming is possible and Wort is expected to play. I hate texts!
