I've been reading a lot of Sooner fan postings here and elsewhere and there seems to be a bit of heat directed at Josh Heupel. I don't understand the complaints. The playcalling was very good in the game. Granted Josh isn't perfect, but I think he's at least as good as Kevin Wilson. If you want to criticize Josh's playcalling then consider how many dropped passes there were in the game and what would've happened if those players had CAUGHT the passes. Also consider how many overthrown passes Landry made in the game. The fact of the matter is that OU's players were in the right position on offense and the right plays were called at the right times. Josh can only call the plays during the game and (unfortunately, since he was awesome) can't actually execute the plays.
If you want to blame OU's offense for the loss on Saturday, blame it on poor execution (drops, overthrows, turnover, missed FGs) not on Heupel.
Oh and btw...I think Jimmy Stevens would've made that last field goal attempt.
