Stinkin' or good smellin'

They is geniuses no doubt. TURNIPS!!!

Rumor has it that Texas is about to sign a huge corporate sponsorship deal for the Longhorn Network. They just have to decide which brand represents them best: Dyson, Eureka or Hoover.

texass is as texass does, thos BS St plays look even better after a few days.

The dudes at the SHN are funny.

The one thing being a lot older has going for it, most of us older have seen more CFB than most younger people have seen web pages.

Trick plays.

As much as we make fun of them, they are legit plays, and are just part of the game. To take a poker lesson and apply to football, and life in general, Texas used those plays at the wrong time. When things are going bad, you stick to the basics. When everybody knows you aren’t catching cards at the poker table, you don’t bluff. When you have no money in a recession, you don’t get a loan and start a business. Finally, when absolutely nothing is going right for you on the football field, you don’t try a trick play. In all situations, you stick to the basics, build a little confidence, and try to get something going before you take a risk. In Texas’ case, they probably should’ve kept it as basic as possible.

New Orleans, here we come.

I agree.

Trick plays only work when you are doing something consistently well and they are a wonderful way to skull- ____ your opponent.
People may gripe about the Statue of Liberty play Boise ran for the two point conversion in the Fiesta Bowl, but the reality is the backside blocking on the play was executed flawlessly.
I like trick plays, especially when they are least expected. The Fumblerooski the Huskers ran years ago was brilliant. The tight end screen OU ran this past Saturday against the blitz was fantastic.

If you train people properly, they won't be able to tell a drill from the real thing. If anything, the real thing will be easier. --Richard Marcinko

Can you remember the fumblerooski that OU

ran on NU. I think Charles Thompson was the QB & C Mark Hutson picked it off the ground & ran like hell for big kid.

All things aside, I will hate BS St till the day I die & texass still SUCKS!

Does anyone know where I can find the video...

of the Sooner players barking at the Texas players before kickoff. I heard they (Oklahoma) were really fired up. I haven’t seen it yet but would love to.
