He certainly doesn't live up to the historical name.
Gideon or Gedeon (Hebrew: גִּדְעוֹן, Modern Gid’on Tiberian Giḏʻôn), which means “Destroyer,” “Mighty warrior,” or “Feller of trees.”

He has been judged unworthy of the name in this time and place.

As John Candy would say “he blowed up real good.”

If you train people properly, they won't be able to tell a drill from the real thing. If anything, the real thing will be easier. --Richard Marcinko

Blowed him up REAL GOOD!

Rumor has it that Texas is about to sign a huge corporate sponsorship deal for the Longhorn Network. They just have to decide which brand represents them best: Dyson, Eureka or Hoover.

The one thing being a lot older has going for it, most of us older have seen more CFB than most younger people have seen web pages.

That’s Billie Sol Hurok and Big Jim McBob!

May the Good Lord take a likin’ to ya and I hope he blows you up real good!

Nah, it was just my way of showing my age

and that I probably spent too much time watching SCTV instead of studying in college.

What a coincidence

He doesn’t live up to the historical given name Blake either, which in Sooner lore also means “Destroyer”, “Mighty Warrior” or “Feller of trees”.

The bottom pic ...

… should be someone’s avatar OR even better, the one pic that sums up ut’s total annihilation at the 2011 RRS (at the precise moment their defensive leader is shown all blowed up – and in agony, the OU player is running downfield with lots of open pasture in front of him) … heck, it may even personify their season, stay tuned.

Stills is a beast!

Kenny is always throwing some hellish blocks downfield…Wonder if he likes that more than scoring TD’s…
Think back to the CU game last year…Crushed a dude and sent him flying 5yrds(15ft sounds better)down field.

The bottom pic is the best, truly awesome and the perfect image of the total texass defense

whatever is worse, the face palm or the Epic Fail utexass D is it.

Can you actually believe that in Austin they graded the D-line of utexass as a B+ for this game. They did sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo mush to help their raggedyassed team.

11:50am and texass sucks more than I ever dreamed they could.
The best part is they did it to themselves!

LOL... so the funniest part to me is all the horn crying & whining about being young....

yet there is OUr sophmore WR blowing up their SR safety as another sophmore WR runs right on by…..

the blow up is excellent, but its not like Gideon would have tackled anyway. He went to the Greg Reid school of tackling….

I love it! There can't be too many pics of somebody from texass getting blew up.

Another Blake Gideon blow up

But this one pops up quicker to take the next hit.
