Twice is just as nice this week with resepct to the Big XII Player of the Week awards handed out Monday morning. Oklahoma's Landry Jones, Offensive Player of the Week, and Jamell Fleming, Defensive Player of the Week, were recognized for their performance this past week against Texas. Jones with a monstrous first half and Fleming leading the team in tackles as well as a defensive touchdown. Honestly, you could have given the defensive award to any number of OU defenders but Fleming is certainly a worthy choice.
Congrats to both and to the offense/defense collectively for an outstanding overall performance!
