Around SBN: Odds On Peyton Manning's Next Home Includes Three Teams

Not exactly what we needed heading into a big game on Saturday. I would expect him to be dismissed as this would not be the first off the field issue he's had during his time in Norman.

Very sad to see a kid with enough talent to get a D-1 scholarship waste it because they can’t stay out of trouble. God knows enough have been to Texas and left because of off the field issues that you could probably fill out an entire team.

good call

between us, texas and florida state… you could put together a pretty epic “what if” team.

although the texas kids wouldn’t qualify, having only been served a one-game suspension instead of being dismissed…

Add

UNC and Florida to that and you’ve got a National Title favorite.

Sad

first offense…I could say people make mistakes. Multiple issues? Sorry…with all the help there is for a kid at a program like OU, there is no excuse.

In the court of public opinion

Unfortunately yes. Not saying I agree with that notion in the slightest, but that is the world we live in. For his sake, I certainly hope it isn’t true but either way something had to have happened and ultimately he put himself in that position for it to happen.

"Ronnell is a freak of nature. Anybody that big, powerful and fast shouldn't be allowed on the field. That's Ronnell. You saw in the Kansas game when he knocked that guy out, he changed the whole game."

There's a lot we probably don't know

Affairs of the heart, passion, youth, jealousies, broken heart… who knows what or who was involved.

Kinda soon to pre-judge, isn’t it?
