Previewing Texas - A Look Back At The Last Time They Played The Sooners
In last year's Red River Shootout the Sooners we're out manned offensively but put up a defensive masterpiece that had Oklahoma in position to win against a Texas team that ended up playing for the BCS championship.
Oklahoma held the Longhorns to just 16 total points and just 269 yards of total offense. Jeremy Beal registered 12 total tackles and the defense as a whole threw down the Longhorns nine times for loss, including four sacks of Colt McCoy. Linebacker Keenan Clayton picked off McCoy twice and corner Brian Jackson nabbed one.
The end result was a 16-13 Longhorn win but the effort wasn't lacking nor was the opportunity.
It was also the official start to the Landry Jones era. Jones completed 24-of-43 passes for 250 yards with a touchdown and unfortunately two picks.

"Ronnell is a freak of nature. Anybody that big, powerful and fast shouldn't be allowed on the field. That's Ronnell. You saw in the Kansas game when he knocked that guy out, he changed the whole game."
I think what you meant
Linebacker Keenan Clayton picked off McCoy twice
With this was Clayton should have pickoff McCoy off twice having two pick sixes hit him square in the hands only to drop both. A part of me will never forgive him for that, ever.
