Welcome to the Crimson and Cream Machine as the Oklahoma Sooners get set ready for BEDLAM! This year's match-up features one game in the beautiful new Drillers ballpark in Tulsa and the second and third games at the ballpark in bricktown.

- The No. 14 Sooners (33-12, 10-9 Big 12) will play in the Bedlam Series, presented by Oklahoma Farm Bureau and the Oklahoman, this weekend against Oklahoma State (26-18, 7-11). Friday's opener is set for 7:35 p.m. in Tulsa, Okla., at OneOK Field, marking the first Bedlam game at the new ballpark. Games two (7:05 p.m.) and three (4:05 p.m.) will switch to AT&T Bricktown Ballpark in OKC.

- A winner in six of the last seven outings, OU is ranked as high as No. 14 this week by the NCBWA poll (No. 17 - USA Today/ESPN Coaches', No. 17-Collegiate Baseball and No. 18-Baseball America). After 45 games, OU has equaled its record from a year ago when it hosted its fourth regional out of its last seven appearances in the NCAA tourney. OU also earned its first national seed in 2009.

- Oklahoma State returns 11 letterwinners from the 2009 club that was 34-24 overall and 9-16 in the Big 12 (9th). The Cowboys are 5-5 in their last 10 games after taking two out of three games at home against Kansas over the weekend. OSU dropped the opener , 17-3, but rebounded with a pair of one-run victories over the Jayhawks, including a 12-inning affair on Saturday.
